I managed to get a few more blocks done last night after getting home. I stole some sewing time before dinner.
Since everything is already cut, it makes it super easy to steal an hour or two and work through a bunch of these. I’m trying to keep the colors distributed throughout the blocks – I don’t want two rings having the same predominant color.
I’m still debating final size – I don’t know if this will be a gift for my mother-in-law or for a friend’s new baby. I have to decide soon. Baby is due in just a few months! Of course, there is always the temptation to just keep this for myself…

They look great! Love all the different fabrics you’re working with. Good luck deciding who gets this lovely quilt.
Thank you! Planned scrappy is my favorite way to do a quilt. As for who gets the quilt, I think I might end up making two!
What fun color combinations. I love seeing what colors look like together. These are great!
I’m loving these fabrics together – mixing and matching is so much fun!
Nice Grannies! The blocks look great together
Thank you! I’m having a lot of fun, mostly because they go so quickly together.

I recognize that gray fabric! I think I’m up to about 2 yards on one of my quilts. I’ve got an update on that quilt coming Tuesday…. Shiny silver and black… as far as the eye can see. 🙂 This is a nice quilt, I’ll come back by and check it out and you move forward.
I love that gray fabric! I wish I’d bought the bolt out when it was on the shelves.
